My intention as a therapist is to create a reflective space and to bring you clarity and support. We will explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviors, and together we will consider whether they are working for you. Through expanding your awareness of your personal processes and protective patterns, both internally and in relationships and how these play out in your mind and body, we will shift perspective and create more opportunity for choice.
I work from the understanding that individuals are part of systems, and I work to understand these systems and support you to manage them. Together we will expand your awareness of how the different parts of your identity are impacted by your experiences and your overall mental health.
I have experience working with clients of many ages and backgrounds. I have worked with clients struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use, life transitions, anger, trauma, interpersonal relationships, communication and existential fears. I am LGTBQ+ informed, which will always push me to understand the impact of your specific identity on your well-being. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to address impacts of trauma in your daily life.
I believe that therapy works best when you trust your therapist. We start with a conversation, we develop that mutual trust and respect, and explore the possibilities that will present themselves.

Hi, my name is Anna. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in Trauma, Grief and Loss, and other challenging life transitions. I also have an extensive background working with depression and anxiety. All LGBTQ+ individuals are welcome and celebrated in my space. I would be honored to offer you a safe environment to process what is in your mind, body, and heart. Together, we will have targeted conversations aimed at identifying your unique strengths, needs, and areas for growth. As we shed light on your patterns and process, you will move toward healing. All I ask is that you come exactly as you are.
To me, the most essential piece of counseling is the meaningful relationship between the therapist and client. In fact, the research shows that this is where the healing truly occurs. As your therapist, I will take extra care to always approach our relationship with warmth, curiosity, and mutual trust.
I am additionally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This form of therapy is specifically aimed at helping those suffering from the long–term effects of traumatic memories. It is one of the most well-researched techniques for processing these memories and establishing a sense of safety and wellbeing in the world. Hi, I’m Britt! Everyone has a story. I believe people begin to heal when they feel heard, and I would love to hear your story. As a therapist, I seek to provide individualized care by considering every client’s unique strengths, identity, culture, and life experience. I have worked with clients of all ages, genders, occupations, and backgrounds, and believe that the healing power of human connection is universal. I have experience working with a wide range of issues and specialize in anxiety, depression, gender identity, intimate partner relationships, interpersonal difficulties, bipolar disorder, trauma, phase of life transitions, and with those in the criminal justice system. I welcome all LGBTQ+ clients and offer a process group to discuss the specific challenges to overall wellness within the LGBTQ+ community. I am trained in TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and provide individual, couples, and family sessions.
